IS PRACTICING 2 TEST SERIES ENOUGH FOR PRELIMS?

The primary tenet or foundation upon which UPSC operates is the idea that quality of work—rather than quantity—is what matters most in terms of preparation. When asked whether two test series are sufficient for prelims, like in the aforementioned question, I must respond that there is no such thing as it. You must take two, three or four test series; anything less will be useless until you have concentrated on the calibre of the test series you are using to practise.
Similar to two years ago, I purchased numerous coaching institute test series from the market as reported by my seniors. I then went to sit for the UPSC CSE 2022 prelims exam and felt content with this inner worth that I have nearly completed 5–6 coaching institute test series, totalling roughly more than 25, which gives me a lot of confidence in the exam room.
However, as I was seated in the exam room with the question paper in my hand, I became stuck and was only able to relate that I had read something relevant to this question but was unable to recall the solution, which I had also not fully comprehended at the time.
Thus, at that time after failing from UPSC CSE 2022 prelims results I found that the results were not in my favour because I have missed some important steps at that moment like I have not engaged in any mentorship sessions which must have guided me the areas where I need to work. Even the areas which need to be focussed upon in the prelim’s preparation has been not paid attention by me
Thus, I passed the comprehensive prelims test series of EDEN IAS, which is notable for being structured under the nutshell of experts and subject specialists. After passing each test, mentors are present to offer advice on how to find the answers to the questions among the four perplexing options and what to do when the elimination method is failing.
In addition to this, they instruct the candidates on how to coordinate their test series with those of other institutions in a sequential manner, which will speed up learning and encourage exploration from other angles.
